A Hive Community is a place to live and is typified by very compact, innovative lofts; vast, sophisticated common facilities; and an amazing community-managed compendium of shared learning, art-making, community outreach, artist-in-residence, scholar-in-residence, foreign student exchange, and Netherlands sister community home swap programs. The Denver Hive, as part of the Taxi campus, includes common facilities with a large dining hall, industrial-gourmet kitchen, World class 140-seat theatre (Fall), five guest suites, large shared art-making facilities, artist-in-residence suite, scholar-in-residence suite, professional shared work facilities, movie buff/audiophile room, shared book/media library, rooftop cafe, kids play room, class room, gallery, planting garden, music practice/rehearsal rooms, roof garden and myriad little places to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Hive.
